About Things What Have Maintained Us / 1940×1303mm / oil ・ linen ・ wooden frame
I introduce the details of this work.

After having finished basic painting with water-soluble emulsion, I used IWA-ENOGU with the same emulsion for the expression of the red dress and the swing.
I thought that the IWA-ENOGU was suitable to express the feel of materials of the cloth and the terra cotta.
[notes]
IWA-ENOGU: pigments for NIHON-GA, 岩絵具
NIHON-GA: Japanese-style paintings, 日本画
NIHON-GA usually use glue as adhesive.
The glue and emulsion of tempera are common at the next points.
[1] Water-soluble.
[2] Colors crop out on the surface after drying.
On this account I think that the water-soluble emulsion of the property same as the tempera which I use is suitable for the IWA-ENOGU.
